Examiner Bureau | Srinagar, Feb 19:
Security forces on Thursday unearthed an inter-state weapons racket in the Nowshera area of Rajouri district, arresting one individual allegedly in direct contact with Pakistan-based terrorists and smugglers.

Acting on specific and credible intelligence inputs, a joint operation was launched by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CIF Romeo unit under the aegis of the White Knight Corps. The coordinated action led to the swift arrest of Sachin alias Pamma, a resident of Nowshera, officials said.

According to officials, the successful operation highlighted seamless coordination among intelligence agencies and security forces, resulting in a decisive breakthrough against a cross-border network.

During the search, security personnel recovered one TISAS Zigana 9mm pistol (Turkey-made), one TT-30 pistol (Norinco, China-made), two extended 50-round Zigana magazines, two standard pistol magazines, and 15 rounds of 9mm live ammunition.
