Examiner Bureau | Anantnag: A massive show of youth strength was witnessed in Anantnag as the Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference organised a grand convention, drawing enthusiastic participation from hundreds of young workers and supporters.
The event underscored the growing grassroots presence of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, with party leaders highlighting the pivotal role of youth in shaping the political and social future of the Union Territory. They described young people as the backbone of the organisation and a key driving force behind its vision.
Addressing the gathering, leaders launched a sharp attack on the Peoples Democratic Party, holding it responsible for the current challenges in Jammu and Kashmir. They alleged that the PDP’s past policies contributed to political instability and hindered development in the region.
The leadership asserted that the youth are now more aware and determined to reject what they termed as “misgovernance,” placing their trust in the National Conference’s roadmap for progress and stability.
They also announced preparations for a major provincial-level convention in the coming weeks, aimed at further mobilising young voices and strengthening the party’s outreach at the grassroots level.
Reaffirming their commitment to development, the leaders emphasised a renewed focus on education and employment opportunities, stressing the need to empower the younger generation and ensure a more prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir.
