J&K Education Department Transfers Five School Principals in Kashmir Division

Administrative reshuffle sees key postings across Ganderbal, Kupwara, Anantnag, and Kulgam

The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the transfer and posting of five Principals across the Kashmir division with immediate effect, in an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening institutional functioning.

The order, issued under Government Order No. 162-JK (Edu) of 2026 dated April 23, 2026, from the Civil Secretariat Jammu, was approved by Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Ram Niwas Sharma.

According to the official directive, Gh Mustafa Bhat has been transferred from HSS Safapora in Ganderbal to GHSS Sogam in Kupwara, while Mohd Ashraf Bhat has been shifted from DIET Kupwara to HSS Safapora, Ganderbal.

Khalid Amin Kohli has been moved from HSS DH Pora in Kulgam to HSS Hiller in Anantnag. In a reciprocal arrangement, Manzoor Ahmad Rather has been transferred from HSS Hiller Anantnag to HSS DH Pora Kulgam.

Meanwhile, Bashir Ahmad Naikoo has been posted from HSS Manzmoh in Anantnag to HSS Khull in Kulgam.

The transfers have been carried out in the interest of administration and are effective immediately, with officials directed to join their new assignments without delay.
