A fire broke out in the B-1 coach of Train No. 12431 Thiruvananthapuram–Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express between Luni Richha and Vikramgarh Alot in Madhya Pradesh, officials of West Central Railway said on Sunday.
Railway authorities said all passengers travelling in the affected coach were safely evacuated immediately after the incident, and no injuries or casualties were reported.
Officials added that prompt action by railway staff helped contain the situation and ensure passenger safety. Further details regarding the cause of the fire are awaited, while an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
