Several passengers were injured, some of them critically, after a passenger-carrying matador overturned at Shakuntla Flyover in Jammu on Sunday evening, officials said.
According to a Traffic Police official, the matador, carrying several passengers, overturned while travelling across the flyover, leaving multiple occupants injured.
Following the accident, locals and rescue personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The condition of some of the injured was reported to be critical.
Police took cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
