Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday extended his greetings to scientists, engineers and the entire space community on National Space Day, commending their contribution to India’s growing achievements in space exploration.

In a message shared on social media, Sinha praised the perseverance, dedication and scientific excellence of India’s space community, saying their achievements had made the nation proud and strengthened the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

He said the remarkable progress made by Indian scientists and engineers was not only expanding the country’s capabilities in space research but also inspiring younger generations to explore new frontiers in science and technology.

Sinha emphasised that India’s achievements in space had become a source of inspiration for young people and were encouraging them to pursue innovation and scientific discovery for the larger welfare of humanity.

National Space Day is observed to commemorate the historic Chandrayaan-3 mission, which successfully landed on the Moon, marking a significant milestone in India’s space programme.
