A 22-year-old Border Security Force (BSF) woman constable, identified as Savita Devi, died in a road accident in the Panjtilla area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.
According to reports, Devi was on leave and heading home on her scooty when it collided with an unidentified vehicle, leaving her fatally injured.
Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and initiated an investigation into the incident.
The circumstances leading to the collision and the identity of the vehicle involved are being ascertained, officials said.
