Acclaimed actor Tabu has expanded her real estate portfolio with the purchase of a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Versova locality, one of the city’s most sought-after seaside neighbourhoods.
According to property registration documents accessed by Liases Foras, the National Award-winning actor acquired the residential unit from Godrej Properties in its premium project, Godrej Skyshore. The transaction, valued at ₹10 crore, was officially registered on March 26, 2026.
The apartment spans approximately 2,153 square feet and includes a balcony area of around 127 square feet. The property also comes with two dedicated car parking spaces. As per official records, a stamp duty of ₹5.24 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000 were paid during the transaction.
The Godrej Skyshore project is being developed on a land parcel exceeding 27,000 square feet and features two residential towers—Tower A and Tower B. The development includes five basement levels, a ground floor, and 24 upper floors, with a total of 126 residential units planned.
Tabu, known for her powerful performances and unconventional film choices, has carved a distinct space in Indian cinema with critically acclaimed films such as Maqbool, Haider, and Andhadhun. Over the years, she has received multiple accolades, including two National Film Awards, several Filmfare Awards, and the Padma Shri in 2011 for her contribution to Indian cinema.
Her latest investment reflects a continuing trend of celebrity interest in Versova and surrounding areas. In 2025, actor Gauhar Khan also reportedly purchased multiple apartments in the same locality, underscoring the area’s growing appeal among high-profile buyers.
