Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today flagged off the first batch of pilgrims for the Annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra from Bhagwati Bhawan in Jammu.
The ceremonial flag-off marked the official commencement of this year’s sacred pilgrimage, with thousands of devotees embarking on their spiritual journey to the revered Shri Amarnath Cave Shrine.
The event was attended by senior civil and police officials, along with members of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board. Elaborate security measures and comprehensive logistical arrangements have been put in place to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage for all devotees.
The Annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is one of India’s most significant religious pilgrimages, drawing lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad every year.
With the first convoy now on its way, the pilgrimage begins amid prayers, devotion, and hopes for a peaceful and successful Yatra.
