Man Dies After Alleged Attack Over Land Dispute in Jammu’s Miran Sahib

Police register case after victim succumbs to critical injuries; two brothers from the same village accused of carrying out the assault.

A man succumbed to critical injuries after he was allegedly attacked with a sharp-edged weapon during a dispute over land in Jammu district’s Miran Sahib area on Friday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Satinder Kumar, son of Jagdish Raj and a resident of village Gazian, which falls under the jurisdiction of Miran Sahib Police Station.

According to police, Satinder Kumar was allegedly assaulted by two brothers from the same village following a dispute over land ownership. He sustained grievous injuries in the attack and later succumbed to them.

Police have registered a case in connection with the incident and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the assault.
