The core committee of the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday reviewed the prevailing political situation in the Union Territory and discussed key issues affecting the people during a meeting chaired by party president Mehbooba Mufti.
According to the party, the meeting focused on the current political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir and deliberated on the challenges being faced by citizens across the region.
The committee also discussed the party’s strategy to effectively raise public concerns and strengthen its efforts to advocate for the rights and aspirations of the people.
Senior PDP leaders participated in the meeting and exchanged views on key political and public issues. The leadership reaffirmed the party’s commitment to highlighting matters of public importance and enhancing its engagement with people at the grassroots level.
In a statement shared on social media, the party said the meeting deliberated on the prevailing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the pressing issues confronting the people, while reviewing the challenges faced by citizens and discussing measures to address their concerns through sustained political engagement.
