The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and posting of three principals in the School Education Department with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 368-JK(Edu) of 2026, dated September 9, Mohd Iqbal Shah, DEPO Kupwara, who was also holding the additional charge of Deputy Chief Education Officer (Dy CEO), Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as Principal, Higher Secondary School (HSS) Teetwal, against an available vacancy.
In another order, Mohammad Mustafa Bhat, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Sogam, has been attached with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, until further orders.
Meanwhile, Mushtaq Ahmad Mureed, Principal, Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Sogam, has been directed to hold the additional charge of Principal, GHSS Sogam, alongside his existing responsibilities, until further orders.
The transfers and postings have been ordered with immediate effect.
