Examiner Bureau | Kulgam:
Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo has urged employees of the National Health Mission (NHM) to call off their ongoing strike, assuring them that the government is examining their demands.
Itoo appealed to the protesting employees to resume their duties, saying their concerns are being looked into by the government.
She maintained that the administration is committed to addressing genuine issues faced by NHM employees and would examine their demands within the framework of existing rules and policies.
The minister’s appeal comes amid the employees’ agitation over their demands, with the strike affecting the functioning of various NHM-related health services across Jammu and Kashmir.
