Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Saturday reviewed the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the Kashmir Valley during a security review and coordination meeting in Srinagar.
According to a post by the Army’s Northern Command on X, Lt Gen Sharma chaired the meeting and reviewed inputs on the security situation, operational preparedness and existing coordination mechanisms in the presence of key stakeholders.
The Army Commander stressed the need for enhanced inter-agency synergy, real-time intelligence sharing and integrated coordination to strengthen operational readiness, facilitate rapid response and improve the effectiveness of joint operations.
“Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, #ArmyCdrNC, chaired a comprehensive Security Review & Coordination Meeting at #Srinagar and reviewed inputs in the presence of key stakeholders on the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and coordination mechanisms,” the Northern Command said.
