Agencies | Kuwait: Kuwait International Airport has come under drone attack, with the Kuwaiti Armed Forces confirming that several Iranian drones struck the facility, causing significant damage.

According to officials, the strikes damaged the airport’s radar system and triggered a massive fire in the fuel storage tanks, raising concerns over aviation safety and critical infrastructure security.

Despite the scale of the attack, authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported so far.

The Kuwaiti Armed Forces stated that a total of 15 Iranian drones were launched towards Kuwait over the past 24 hours, marking a serious escalation in regional tensions.

Emergency teams have since been deployed to contain the fire and assess the damage, while security has been heightened across key installations in the country.

The incident adds to growing fears of a wider conflict in the region, as attacks increasingly target critical civilian and strategic infrastructure.
