Examiner Bureau | Srinagar:

The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has directed Chief Education Officers (CEOs) across Kashmir to furnish details of teachers and Masters who did not apply for transfers under the Annual Transfer Drive (ATD) 2026, with particular emphasis on cases involving benchmark disabilities or serious illnesses affecting the officials or their dependent family members.

In a communication dated October 21, 2026, the directorate asked the CEOs to record the relevant information in the remarks column of the details being compiled for employees who had not submitted their transfer applications through the online portal.

The communication further specifies that claims relating to benchmark disabilities or life-threatening diseases must be supported by relevant documents or a medical certificate issued by the competent authority.

The directive seeks to ensure that such circumstances are appropriately documented while compiling information on employees who did not participate in the online transfer process.

The latest communication follows an earlier directive issued by the directorate on October 14, seeking details of Masters and Teachers who had not submitted online transfer applications under ATD-2026.

The CEOs have been asked to provide the requisite information in accordance with the directorate’s instructions.
