Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Srinagar Member of Parliament Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi on Wednesday reiterated that he would resign from both the party and Parliament on November 3, asserting that his decision remained unchanged.

“As sure as I was when I announced it. Nothing has changed ever since. Things remain the same. I don’t see any reason for me to change my decision. I am resigning on November 3 from the National Conference as well as Parliament, as I announced earlier,” Ruhullah said.

Asked about his future course of action following the planned resignation, the Srinagar MP said he would decide based on how the situation unfolded.

“Let’s see how things turn after that,” he said.
