Examiner Bureau | Srinagar:

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted searches at four premises in Srinagar in connection with an alleged terror funding network involving Umar Adil Dar and his associates, officials said.

The investigation centres on allegations that Dar was working as an Over Ground Worker (OGW) for the banned terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and was involved in activities linked to the outfit.

Officials said the searches were part of the agency’s ongoing probe into the alleged terror funding network.

Details regarding the specific premises searched and any recoveries made during the operation were not immediately available. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
