The much-anticipated film Aakhri Sawal, starring Sanjay Dutt, has taken a notable step towards inclusive storytelling with the release of its teaser in Indian Sign Language.

Earlier, the makers unveiled the film’s teaser on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, offering a glimpse into the historical journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Building on the initial response, the newly released version in sign language aims to make the film accessible to a wider audience, particularly the hearing-impaired community.

Sharing the development, the makers stated that Aakhri Sawal reflects a commitment to inclusivity, emphasizing that every story deserves to be understood by all. The film is expected to follow a similar approach upon release.

The narrative is inspired by the 100-year journey of the RSS, founded in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. It is said to revolve around a significant historical meeting that influenced the nation’s trajectory, while exploring themes of selfless service and lesser-known aspects of India’s socio-political evolution.

Alongside Sanjay Dutt, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, and Neetu Chandra.

The project is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang, known for his acclaimed Marathi film Picasso. It is presented and produced by Nikhil Nanda in collaboration with Sanjay Dutt under the banners of Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures and Neem Tree Entertainment, with support from a team of co-producers and writers.

Aakhri Sawal is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 15, 2026, and is being positioned as a significant cinematic project blending history, drama, and contemporary relevance.
