The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned the additional charge of three posts of Superintending Engineer (Mechanical) to senior officers of the Jal Shakti Department with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle.
The appointments have been made through Government Order No. 130-JK (JSD) of 2026, dated August 3, 2026, issued by the Jal Shakti Department.
According to the order, Nawaz Ahmad Bhat, Superintending Engineer and Technical Advisor, Jal Jeevan Mission, Jammu, has been assigned the additional charge of Superintending Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Mechanical Circle, Srinagar.
Similarly, Sunil Seth, Superintending Engineer, Hydraulic Circle, Doda, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Superintending Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Mechanical Circle, Jammu.
The government has also assigned Vaneet Vaid, Superintending Engineer with the Jammu and Kashmir Water Resources Regulatory Authority (JKWRRA), the additional charge of Superintending Engineer, Public Health Engineering Mechanical Circle, Rural Jammu.
The Jal Shakti Department said the additional charge arrangements have been made in the interest of efficient administration and shall take effect immediately.
