J&K School Education Department Transfers Two ZEOs, Three Lecturers

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of two Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) and three lecturers in the School Education Department with immediate effect.

According to Government Order No. 355-JK (Edu) of 2026, issued on August 31, Fayaz Ahmad Harray, Zonal Education Officer, Chenani, has been transferred and posted as ZEO, Pampore.

In a corresponding move, Shahnaz Ahmad Malik, who was serving as ZEO, Pampore, has been transferred and posted as ZEO, Chenani.

Meanwhile, Raj Kumar Badyal, ZEO, Bhagwah in Doda district, has been directed to join as ZEO, Ramnagar, with effect from September 1, following the superannuation of the present incumbent.

Lecturers Also Transferred

The order also includes the transfer and posting of lecturers in the School Education Department.

Shahnaz Kousar, Lecturer in Persian at Higher Secondary School Seeri, Nowshera, has been transferred and posted to Higher Secondary School Kakora, against the post held by Nasim Akhter.

The transfers have been ordered in the interest of administration and will take effect as specified in the government order.
