The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has transferred three IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by the MHA on September 3, 2026, Mohd Aijaz, IAS (AGMUT: 2012), Harvinder Singh, IAS (AGMUT: 2019), and Shishir Gupta, IAS (AGMUT: 2020) have been relieved of their present assignments in Jammu and Kashmir and transferred to Arunachal Pradesh.
The order, issued with the approval of the Competent Authority, stated that the transfers would remain effective until further orders.
The three officers have been directed to be relieved from their present postings within 15 days from the date of issuance of the order.
The directive was issued under File No. 15041/08/2023-UTS.I and signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.
