At least six people were injured after an e-rickshaw met with an accident on the Bani-Dhaggar road at Charodi Duggan in Kathua district on Sunday.
According to an official, the e-rickshaw bearing registration number JK08R-2846 met with an accident at Charodi Duggan, leaving six occupants injured.
The injured have been identified as Koushala Devi, Sher Singh, Joginder Kumar, Neelma Devi, Aman Kumar and Sansar Singh, all residents of the Bani area.
Following the accident, the injured were shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Bani, where they are undergoing treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
