Three minor girls who had gone missing from the Nunwani area of Brakpora in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district were traced safely within hours, police said on Saturday.

The girls, all residents of Nunwani, Brakpora in the Achabal area, had reportedly gone missing on Friday evening between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm, prompting immediate concern among family members and triggering a search operation by police.

According to Anantnag Police, dedicated police teams launched a swift search effort and successfully traced all three minors within a few hours of receiving the information.

In a statement shared on social media, the police confirmed that the girls were found safe and are being reunited with their families after the completion of necessary legal formalities.

Police credited the prompt response and coordinated efforts of the teams involved for the successful and timely recovery of the missing girls, bringing relief to their families and the local community.
