Members of the Bajrang Dal staged a protest in Bihar’s Forbesganj town, burning an effigy of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan over his reported marriage to Gauri Spratt. During the demonstration, protesters raised slogans such as “Aamir Khan murdabad” and “Aamir Khan jihadi Bharat chhodo” while accusing the actor of promoting what they described as “love jihad.”
In a statement released during the protest, Bajrang Dal leader Manoj Soni alleged that Aamir Khan was repeatedly marrying Hindu women to insult Hindu society. He further claimed that the actor was part of a “larger conspiracy” aimed at weakening the Hindu community, though he did not provide any evidence to support the allegation.
In a video shared from the protest, Soni also questioned why the actor had married Hindu women instead of women from the Muslim community. He urged the government and the judiciary to take action against Aamir Khan, alleging that his actions were disrupting communal harmony.
The protest reportedly took place on Tuesday, July 7, when Bajrang Dal workers, wearing saffron shawls, burned the actor’s effigy and raised slogans against him.
