The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the transfer of JKAS officer Basharat Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of the Tourism Development Authority, Rajouri, and posted him as Secretary of the J&K Advisory Board for Development of Gujjar and Bakerwal, with immediate effect.
The order was issued by the General Administration Department (Services) under Government Order No. 1544-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated September 21.
According to the order, Rehana Akhter Bijli, JKAS, who had earlier been ordered to take over as Secretary of the J&K Advisory Board for Development of Gujjar and Bakerwal, will continue in her present assignment as Additional Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department.
