Woman’s Body Found in Doda’s Karara Area

The body of an unidentified woman was found in the Karara area of Doda district on Sunday, officials said.

According to officials, some locals spotted the body and informed the police. A police team subsequently reached the spot and recovered it.

“The body has been shifted to the hospital for medico-legal formalities, while efforts are being made to ascertain its identity,” an official said.

Police have initiated proceedings and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. Further details are awaited.
