The Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, has assigned Dr Dara Singh, the senior-most Medical Superintendent Grade-I and Professor, the additional charge of Head of the Department (HoD), Hospital Administration, with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by GMC Jammu Principal and Dean Dr Ashutosh Gupta, the arrangement has been made with the approval of the Administrative Department.
Under the order, Dr Dara Singh will discharge the duties of HoD, Hospital Administration, GMC and Associated Hospitals, Jammu, in addition to his existing responsibilities.
The order states that the arrangement takes effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders.
