The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned the additional charge of Inspector General of Registration, J&K, to 2014-batch IAS officer Dr Sagar Doifode Dattatray, with immediate effect and until further orders.
The decision was conveyed through Government Order No. 1438-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department on August 24, 2026.
Dr Doifode is presently serving as Special Secretary to the Government in the Agriculture Production Department. He is also holding additional charge as Mission Director of the Holistic Development Agriculture Programme (HADP) and the Jammu Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP).
Under the latest government order, he will now take charge of the responsibilities of Inspector General of Registration, J&K, in addition to his existing assignments.
The additional charge has been entrusted to Dr Doifode with immediate effect and will continue until further orders.
The move comes as part of the government’s administrative arrangement to ensure continuity in the functioning of the Registration Department and uninterrupted discharge of its responsibilities.
