A 23-year-old law student from Kralgund in Kupwara district, Suhail Aijaz Langoo, died in a road accident in Chandigarh, according to information shared by local residents and Handwara MLA Sajad Lone.
Lone, in a post on X on Tuesday, said Langoo was killed in an accident in Chandigarh and was pursuing a law degree. He expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for strength for them during the difficult time.
Langoo was studying law in Chandigarh. Local residents said he was the only son of his parents, with news of his death triggering grief in his native area.
